District Health Information Software 2 (DHIS2) is an open source, web-based health management information system (HMIS) platform. Today, DHIS2 is the world's largest HMIS platform, in use by 67 low and middle-income countries.
We are including this platform in our collection because we believe that it could be configured to provide the case management functionality that many direct service providers need, along with the event information management and analysis to capture human rights violations. HURIDOCS hasn't yet tested out the use of this tool for this purpose.
