It may include more recent or better imagery of rural areas and cities. This satellite imagery is also free.  You will see the mapped streets in yellow. The zoom tool is on the left. In the upper right hand corner you can switch between map view, satellite view, and even access Google and Bing maps.  You can click on a street or area (which will be highlighted in yellow) and there may be information and additional images. 45
