A reverse image search may yield additional results relating to the account, such as other social media accounts or whether the picture has previously appeared in the media. If you are searching for a specific individual this may increase your knowledge of their employment, their location, or perhaps their expertise. If they are a journalist for example, this could lead you to other articles they have written, indicating their experience in the field. NB.
